Cinderella . . .

She spins and she sways to whatever song plays, without a care in the worldAnd I'm sitting here wearing the weight of the world on my shoulders. It's been a long day and there's still work to do,She's pulling at me saying, "Daddy I need you! There's a ball at the castle and I've been invited and I need to practice my dancing, Oh please, Daddy, please"So I will dance with Cinderella while she is here in my armsCause I know something the prince never knewI will dance with Cinderella, I don't want to miss even one songCause all too soon the clock will strike midnight and she'll be gone....

The Birthday Festivities . . .

We had an awesome day for Phoebe's birthday. We didn't plan a party but I bought a special outfit and we planned a special day.

First step take some pictures to remember Phoebe's special day. You only turn 2 once and we wanted to make sure it was documented well.

Rocking her awesome birthday outfitDallas was reluctant to get in the picture. He hate getting his picture taken lately.
We went to the mall so she could play and make a bear at Build a Bear.
She had a lot of fun climbing everything and hopping around. She got alot of attention while we were at the mall. Everyone seemed to notice her shirt and wish her Happy Birthday. She loved it all.
The most handsome 4 year old around

We let her and Dallas ride on the little carousel for a few times.
So much fun!!

Mama and Daddy to a 2 year old girl and a 4 year old boy
Time to make a bear. Much to my dismay she picked a panda bear. I was trying to get her to make a kitty.
Watching the bear making
Making sure the bear is soft enough
Giving the heart a kiss before putting it inside
Phoebe putting the heart inside her bear.
Dallas making his bear. I couldn't let her get one and him not. I'm nice that way. Scrub, Scrub, Scrub.
Washing their bears and making sure they are extra clean
Next stop was The Disney Store to pick out a present.
Dallas didn't want to be in the picture so Daddy cheesed it up for us at Red Robin where we went for lunch.
Having a special meal at Red Robin
Watching the people at Red Robin sing Happy Birthday to her. I took her shirt off because I didn't want it to get dirty.
I've taught her well!
This is how you do it, who needs a spoon?
She is a pro for sure!
Yum!
It was a princess overload this year!
One day this girl is going to rule the world!

One of her presents, it's a Cinderella Dress

She picked out this cake 3 weeks ago and talked about it all the time. She was so excited to have her rainbow cake. As I type this she is looking at the picture saying, "that's my rainbow cake!!!"
Trying to blow out the candles from 5 feet away, lol!!

Blowing out the candles with Daddy's help. She wanted to do it alone but didn't want to get close to the flame.
