Texas Bluebonnets . . . .

Bluebonnets are the state flower and they grow wild in the spring. All over the place and they are so pretty. We took pictures in two spots, on the side of the road and also in a field near where my in laws live. The first set were good and by the second set the kids didn't want pictures taken at all. It was too bad because the field was gorgeous!

This is in the field after we had been at Oma and Opa's house. He was tired and wanted nothing to do with pictures.
I think he has 3 year old angst!
I'm beginning to think it is impossible to get good pictures of them together.

Some Recent Pics . . .

SUPER BATH GIRL!!!!! She loves to have her towel on her head and walk around. The dark pink part of her towel is a crown so she is a true princess!

Zoo time . . .

We had an amazing family day at the Fort Worth Zoo. The weather was so perfect so we decided to make an adventure out of the day. We spent a few hours at the zoo looking at all the animals, which the kids loved, then we went and road the train that is near the zoo. It was just perfect!! It was the first time we went to the zoo as a family of four. Last time we were there I was very pregnant with Miss P.

Daddy and Dallas looked so cute together. Dallas loves to wear his sunglasses just like Daddy. He hopped in and out of his stroller throughout the zoo.
Looking at the backside of a Rhino. Each time we were done looking at one thing Dallas would say, "Let's see something else now!"
It was my mission to leave my 3 monkeys at the Zoo but sadly the zoo staff said they had enough monkeys to care for and sent me home with mine. Oh well...I had to give it a try!
Doesn't she look impressed?
Pointing to the zebra and calling it a dog. Every single animal that Phoebe saw today was a dog! It was so funny!

Pointing to the Elephant and calling it a dog. I think she liked the elephants best, it must have been because they were the biggest.

We rode a small train inside the zoo and Phoebe really wanted to sit on the seat like a big girl, big surprise there!
