Dallas' 3rd Birthday Party . . .

Things didn't go quite as I had planned. The weather didn't cooperate and we got a bunch of ice last night and the roads were bad this morning. (Just for the record it was like 80 degrees here like 4 days ago and today we have ice?!?!) So the jump place we were going to have his party at didn't open. So we moved the party to Chick-Fil-A. Not really where I wanted to have it but we made do. He didn't know any different because I just told him he was having a party and didn't mention where it was going to be.

Is she not . . .

The cutest little girl ever? I think so.

I know my mom has a picture of me with a hat on around the same age, she should dig it up and see how much we look alike.

Take my picture . . .

Is what Dallas is always saying to me . . .

Just me . . .

I was playing around with the camera for some new pics of me. I really liked how these ones turned out.

Target Rules . . .

I love my Target. Everything goes on sale and I just got Phoebe a crib set for when we move. She still sleeps in a pack and play but this will be her bedding when she has her own room. Regular price $69.99, I paid $17.00. AWESOME!

Some Random Facts about Me . . .

I took this idea from someone else but I thought it was pretty fun.

1. I would rather read than watch TV.
2. I love to pay bills.
3. I drive a minivan and I am proud of it. I secretly think everyone should have one and I can't understand why everyone doesn't want one. They are so cool!!
4. I have an obsession with chocolate. I could eat it all day.
5. My favorite drink is a Grande Caramel Mocha from Starbucks. It is heaven in a cup!
6. I have friends that live all over the world, some of which I have never met in person but all of whom I love dearly.
7. I am worried what our life will be like once we are not in the Air Force anymore.
8. I can't wait to buy our first home and paint the walls all sorts of colors.
9. I can't decide if I would like another child. Somedays I feel like my family isn't complete and other days I don't even want the children I do have.
10. Naptime is one of my favorite times of the day because I don't have to do anything for anyone and I often spend it doing nothing but stuff for me.
11. My signature color is red

I have more to add to this by Dallas he has to pee and Phoebe is awake from her nap. Aww, the life of a mommy.

Smallish update . . .

Phoebe is 11 months old today. Only one more month to go until her big birthday. I am still in denial that she is going to be one soon. Her party decorations came in the mail today and it made me sad. I can feel her first tooth poking through today. I can't quite see it but I can feel it and it is pretty sharp. At this age Dallas had 8 teeth and this is her first. They are so amazingly different. I hope this tooth will be the explanation as to why she has been super clingy and cranky. I have been calling her my cling on lately because she just won't let me put her down and when I do she cries at my legs. It is pretty pitiful. She took 5 steps the other day and is slowly practicing more and more.

Standing up all by herself. She really likes to put things on her head. She can climb onto this airplane all by herself. If I am not careful she will try to stand on it too.

Dallas' party is one week from tomorrow. I can't wait because he is so excited already. Everyday he asks to go to his party. I don't think he really understands what his party is going to be but he knows we will have cake and he is ready for that. We spent some time with Oma and Opa this weekend and Dallas had a blast with his Opa. When Opa is around he doesn't seem to have much time for anyone else. He even told Daddy to, "Get Out Of Here" when Opa was showing him something and Daddy came into the room.

Bathtub fun . . .

So . . .

I haven't posted in a long time. The kids have been sick for awhile and it is sucking the life right out of me. Daddy has been working long hours and hasn't been home until after the kids are in bed. Dallas has had a bad cough and we went to the doctor on Monday. He got an antibiotic and Phoebe had a rash on her face, turns out it was impetigo. So she got a prescription ointment for her face. She started to get sick on Monday so we went back to the doctor yesterday and she has croup. He wrote me a prescription and told me to fill it on Saturday if she is not better by then. Dallas has been his usual self even with his sickness but Phoebe is just miserable. She is fussy and just wants to be held. Her voice is hoarse so when she cries she sounds really pitiful.

I haven't taken many pictures lately, but here are a few.
